PBBM PRIORITIZES NUCLEAR ENERGY

The House of Representatives has created a special committee to craft policies and programs relating to nuclear energy.

This is in line with President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.’s goal to construct new power plants within the six years of his administration.

Senior Deputy Majority Leader Sandro Marcos made a motion to create the Special Committee on Nuclear Energy, which will focus on the development of nuclear power infrastructure, as well as the interaction of other energy sources with nuclear energy as a reliable, cost-competitive, and environment-friendly energy source.
