Ayon kay VP Sara, 1960s pa lamang ay tinatalakay na ang pagkakaroon ng tulay na magdurugtong sa dalawang lugar noong gobernador pa ng Davao Region ang kanyang lolo.
Nagpasalamat naman ang pangalawang pangulo sa administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at noo’y DPWH Secretary Mark Villar para sa initial stages ng tulay at sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos para sa continuity ng proyekto. |
Advocacy Campaign Theme: “Life is beautiful, Kaligtasan Nyo, Sagot Ko, Tulong Tulong Tayo“
Life is Beautiful because life is a gift from above, when valued and given prime importance it becomes beautiful. Kaligtasan Nyo, Sagot Ko represents the PNP’s image branding as a law enforcer in reassuring the community’s safety and security as the foremost mandate and responsibility. Tulong-Tulong Tayo is the doctrine of how peace and order are achieved, through reciprocal and shared responsibility.
ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to all Filipinos aged 18 years to 60 years old residing in any region of the Philippines. This will give participants the opportunity to make their OWN VERSION AND INTERPRETATION of our theme “Life is beautiful, Kaligtasan Nyo, Sagot Ko, Tulong Tulong Tayo “
DEADLINE
You may begin submitting on October 21,2022. The contest deadline is November 4, 2022. Any entries submitted by that date will be accepted.
JUDGING
Entries will be judged by Three (3) officers from Philippine National Police and Two (2) professionals from Marketing/Advertising field. The decisions of the board of judges are final and irrevocable. Written feedback will be given on all winning entries.
The decision of the panel of judges with the following criteria is final and incontestable.
• 40% – Concept and Relevance to the Theme “Life is Beautiful”
• 30% – Originality and Storyline
• 20% – Audience Impact
• 10% – Audio and Video Quality

The Baguio Country Club Christmas Village has opened anew to give residents and tourists a closest-to-White-Christmas experience.
Set to run from Oct. 10, 2022 until January 8, 2023, this year’s offering adopted the “Oriental Winter Wonderland” theme showcasing activities such as a snow show, nativity pageant, cosplay busking, live musical performance, picture taking with Santa, Japanese and Korean characters and a wishing wall.
Christmas Village’s operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily and with the following entrance fees:
From 10:00 AM to 4:59 PM, Php 90 for adults, Php 50 for kids (4-12 yrs. old) and Php 30 for senior citizens (60 years old and above).
From 5:00 PM to 10:00PM, Php 125 for adults, Php 90 for kids (4-12 yrs. old) and Php 50 for senior citizens (60 years old and above).
